The Monteleone Chariot Friday, November 20, 2009 | 1
This is the most preserved and most complete out of all the known ancient chariots in the world (around 300, yet only a half dozen are considered complete). This particular chariot dates from around 530 bc, and you can see it at the Met in New York. This was one of my favorite things I saw there.

a Monday bridge picture followup Monday, November 16, 2009 | 1
My mom wanted to know if there were fall colored leaves around this bridge, and there really weren't that many. The best picture I found to show would be this shot from in the bridge. So, there you go, mom.

the 1927 bridge Monday, November 16, 2009 | 2
This was one of those beautiful slightly foggy mornings that was perfect for seeing this 1927 wooden bridge. Alison and I saw three of these older wooden type of bridges in one day while driving around the countryside outside of Saint John, New Brunswick. I think my favorite part of this picture is the birds perched up on the roof.
