One of the greatest things that God has given humans is the ability to see beauty in the world around us. I have never noticed my dog stop and stare at the beauty of a forest or the incredible colors of a sunset, but these things have the ability to stop me in my tracks in wonder and awe. This website is my attempt to capture some of the beauty and glory of an indescribable God by capturing reflections of Him that I see in His creation.
awww, one of my favorite scenes of the year. I love autumn! Beautiful, Dave! smiles...
It's been way too long since we've been to McKittrick. Seeing those fall colors makes me feel dreamy for autumn.
Never been to McKittrick...
Very nice, Dave.
Daniel, you need to take the girls out there and go for a hike either this spring or fall. It's really beautiful. You could take a picnic lunch and just have a fun day.
I haven't been there since I was about 13-14...we went on a church daytrip out there hiking. smiles...
My only real surprise with McKittrick is how far you have to hike before you see color. I always thought it was this incredible place you just drove up to. In reality, the great colors in fall don't begin until you've walked about 2 or 3 miles (one way).
This is a hike well worth it though, and you will be surrounded by people if you go during the fall color time; it's very popular.
Yeah...we don't hike. Walking is not one of our strong suits. We would have a potential 2 year old fatality on our hands if we had to have paitence.
This is why man created camera. So Dave can visit and if we can't drive it, the enjoyment will come from his pictures.
