This great bridge was built in 1926, and since I had uploaded this in response to a question over at the autumn challenge, I decided to go ahead and show it here as well.

One of the greatest things that God has given humans is the ability to see beauty in the world around us. I have never noticed my dog stop and stare at the beauty of a forest or the incredible colors of a sunset, but these things have the ability to stop me in my tracks in wonder and awe. This website is my attempt to capture some of the beauty and glory of an indescribable God by capturing reflections of Him that I see in His creation.
Wow! Your crispness on this photo is amazing. I think that I like it better with the black & white version that you posted over on the autumn challenge, but that may be simply because I saw that version first and fell in love with it. ;o)
Okay sis, about the crispness issue. Your camera has a setting where you can set how sharp you want your picture. You need to bump that up in your settings on your camera.
Really, what you should do is shoot in raw and set all of that later. Your camera came with a disc with Canon's Digital Photo Professional program on it (there is a mac version). If you install that, you can set all of your raw settings on the computer instead of the camera and you'll be amazed at how different your pictures will look. The program is easy to use, and you would pick it up quick.
LOL...you have a LOT more faith in my tech abilities than I do...A LOT!!!
Trust me, I'm not relying on faith to know you could mess with this program. It's not as hard as you think it is, and the Canon program is REALLY easy to use. For example, click here to get a screen shot of what you would be doing. I circled the 3 areas you would mess with: white balance, picture style, and then at the bottom is your sharpness and saturation.
Two drop down menus and two sliders. That is all. You can handle that. Promise.
Okay, I will see if I can locate my disk today and see what I can do....
