If you follow Alison's blog, you know that last week she lamented the fact that our Christmas tree(s) was not up yet this year (in a post entitled O Tannenbaum - click this sentence to go to her blog). Granted she did talk about how God used that in her life, so you should go check it out if you haven't yet.
Well, here's proof that the tree(s) is up and it is officially Christmastime at the Bryant's (although I have been listening to Christmas music since October whenever Alison wasn't around).

What a beautiful scene! Another postcard setting!
And well worth the wait...look at this gorgeous vignette! smiles...
Did the missing angel ever appear?
Okay, Alison obviously has some unbelievers reading her blog, but I have to point out the fact that if you have been reading Dave's blog for long, these photos look eerily similar to last year's Christmas photos. hmmmmm.....
It looks beautiful Alison! Maybe we'll sneak over and have our Christmas celebration at your house since my fireplace isn't real.
Hmmm...how to prove this picture is from this year...let me think...can you see the singed nativity barn on the mantle?
Ya know, since I caught the moss on fire taking that close up picture a couple of weeks ago.
And mom, no, the angel hasn't shown up yet. But, we do have Christmas decorations we haven't pulled out this year.
I'm not questioning your honesty...I believe you both. I was just saying...oh, and no, I can't see any singed areas...
Well, I wish I could get Sarah to vouch for us, but we don't invite her and Will over anymore apparently. :-)
The only person who's even seen that room this Christmas is Alison's boss.
Alright, for those keeping score:
2006 Christmas picture (with the ghost of Christmas ugly).
2008 Christmas picture taken last night.
either vignette is gorgeous {without the ghost ;o) }
So, is it bad that I don't want to work today?
It's a holiday week...I don't think that anyone is in the mood to work...obviously I am in the same boat since I am on here messing with you when I need to be getting something done cause Kat is napping! When do y'all head home? smiles...
Yeah, it's a holiday week, but we're both (supposed) to be working today. School's even still in today here! Yesterday wasn't much fun and this morning hasn't been much better, so this has been a nice diversion.
We're going to head home tonight after work and come home Friday night. Are you guys headed anywhere or staying at the house?
We're staying right here...thank goodness as it is raining freezing rain right now...YUCK!
Wonderful, warm and cozy!
