One of the greatest things that God has given humans is the ability to see beauty in the world around us. I have never noticed my dog stop and stare at the beauty of a forest or the incredible colors of a sunset, but these things have the ability to stop me in my tracks in wonder and awe. This website is my attempt to capture some of the beauty and glory of an indescribable God by capturing reflections of Him that I see in His creation.
okay, I saw this photo, but thought it was a stock photo...WOW, Dave, this is absolutely gorgeous!!! Just...WOW!
Well, this one has been sitting on my computer desktop waiting to be posted. I haven't posted it yet because it only looks good because of the photoshop work. :-)
But, I don't have any other pictures ready to post, so here it is. I only used it for the autumn challenge website since it was sitting on the computer and I wanted to see how vertical pictures looked on that site.
Hey photoshopped photos totally count among the gorgeous too. I don't have photoshop and am totally jealous of you all that are patient enough to learn it. I really would LOVE to start using some of the actions that I see people use, but am totally clueless...although on the verge of getting braver...I think. :o) smiles...
Not that this probably helps you, but there is some free software you can play with. Look for a free program called gimp, which is made for the mac. They have their equivalent of an action, called script-fu (I think). Gimp is a great program like photoshop, and I bet you can find some great script-fu files.
I actually have Gimp loaded. I just don't have a clue as to how to figure it out. I need to go find a Gimp for Dummies book. ;o)
