I got my Canon dslr almost 2 years ago, and I have loved it during that time. But I just got another digital camera that I am excited about having. A VistaQuest VQ1005. This is a little 1.3megapixel keychain camera that is tiny, unpredictable and, honestly, kinda awesome. These cameras take such bad pictures that I love them - highly saturated, dark corners, crazy focus, etc. It's like a digital version of a lomo or holga camera. The pictures are bad enough that they look kinda artsy. I haven't played with it much, but here's a quick sample.

what fun!!! :) and so "ready for adventure"! ... dave, i know you told me previously, but what camera do you have? (the canon one, please)
I use the Canon Rebel XT. This the second camera in their digital rebel line (I think there are 6 cameras they've now come out in that line).
The XT is an 8 megapixel camera that takes good pictures in my opinion. The only thing performance wise that I don't like is the bad noise you get when you max out the iso at 1600. I don't think the iso set at 800 or 1600 takes usable pictures, but anything taken at 100, 200 or 400 seem to be fine for my tastes.
