Last night we were forecast to have a big snow, well, a big snow for us. I couldn't pass up the chance to do some nighttime photos of snow falling to the ground. So, I went outside about 2am to start taking pictures, and it was beautiful outside. Between all of the snow falling and the fairly full moon behind all of those clouds, the sky was very well lit; I could have read a book without any kind of flashlight.
This 10 second long picture was taken about 2:40. While you cannot see it, it is snowing pretty heavily at the moment. The snow is just moving too fast to be captured by the long exposure.

Another simply beautiful picture -- hard to believe it was taken during the night. Love your nature photography!
THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF YOUR BETTER PICTURES AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED!!!!
