One of the greatest things that God has given humans is the ability to see beauty in the world around us. I have never noticed my dog stop and stare at the beauty of a forest or the incredible colors of a sunset, but these things have the ability to stop me in my tracks in wonder and awe. This website is my attempt to capture some of the beauty and glory of an indescribable God by capturing reflections of Him that I see in His creation.
Is it time to go back on vacation yet? =)
Do you think we could get away with going on vacation again? If so, I'm all for it!
Amazing that a few of the leaves are red -- was that branch dying?
No, the rest of the branch was just fine, so I guess this leaf just changed earlier than the rest of the tree. This was in Acadia National Park which hadn't changed too much. But, the lower valleys around it had changed a bunch.
Click this sentence to see a great example. Of course, I was in a windy biplane going 100 miles an hour at 1100 feet which made this picture not that great, but you can get an idea on some of the great reds.
Are you surethat you didn't photoshop this?!? ;o) What an amazing shot...just gorgeous! smiles...
heh, yeah I'm sure that this is what it looked like. Alison was there, so she can vouch for it!
This was just bizarre to have one leaf that had changed so drastically.
