One of the greatest things that God has given humans is the ability to see beauty in the world around us. I have never noticed my dog stop and stare at the beauty of a forest or the incredible colors of a sunset, but these things have the ability to stop me in my tracks in wonder and awe. This website is my attempt to capture some of the beauty and glory of an indescribable God by capturing reflections of Him that I see in His creation.
A quiet peaceful shore like this reminds me of this quote from Tozer:
"If there's anything necessary to your eternal happiness but God, you're not the kind of Christian that you ought to be. For only God is the true rest." -A.W. Tozer, Attributes of God

Have you and Alison thought of doing a book together - you furnishing the fantastic photos you do with the spiritual insights, and Alison with her devotional and spiritual thoughts. Maybe you could call it, like your blog, Reflections of Creation.

I've got an idea - pictures and articles for Texas Highways! Just kidding - when Laurence Parent starts asking me for advice, I'll consider it. The funny thing is that I always dreamed of being a writer when I was younger. I even started working on a book in college (Max Lucado type of stuff). I remember I wrote some neat stuff about Obadiah.
