I have posted both of these pictures ago, but it was before I even told anybody about this blog. Now it's exactly 300 posts later (I didn't realize that until creating this post), and I think this is still one of my favorite posts. These two pictures were taken in south Fort Worth while walking around Pecan Valley Park. I took the winter picture first, and then went back in summer. While walking around, I saw this branch and instantly thought of that picture I had taken before. I tried to duplicate it from my memory, and I'm happy with how they turned out together.
I love how God sends me gentle reminders of Him in every season. I love the reminder that He is there to refresh and regrow me after a dark winter. I love the reminder that even in the desolate and cold days, there is color and beauty not found any other time. God, I love these little reminders of You. Thanks.

What a beautiful post! Congratulations on #300!!! Both photos are absolutely gorgeous, but I really love the starkness of the winter vignette!
