I'm posting this a little early since I didn't put anything up for Sunday. This was taken at the same time as the "flower fandango" pictures, but has fewer flowers. I guess it takes more flowers to be considered a full fledged fandango.
One of the greatest things that God has given humans is the ability to see beauty in the world around us. I have never noticed my dog stop and stare at the beauty of a forest or the incredible colors of a sunset, but these things have the ability to stop me in my tracks in wonder and awe. This website is my attempt to capture some of the beauty and glory of an indescribable God by capturing reflections of Him that I see in His creation.

Christi, you're in luck because it's for sale for $30! This one is on display in a photography show in Artesia (that started today).
I love this shot, but it's now my loser shot. It didn't win a thing.
Not only that, but it is positioned lower than any other picture in the show. It's actually so low that only the lollipop gang can see it. They must have hated it that bad.
So, this is now my loser shot. :-)
This shot resized would be 8x12 inches, which is difficult to get done. So, you'd need a 8x10 which is what I entered in the show. That does cut off part of the ends, so here is the 8x10 inch file which you could save and get printed yourself. I printed it from Walgreens on glossy paper, and it looks great.
And thanks Kara for the bandwidth I didn't ask to use.
How did your other pictures do in the show?
My favorite picture took second place. So, I'm really happy about that, since I have never entered a photography show before. I won some money out of the deal, but I can't remember how much it is and I seem to have lost my info sheet about the show which told that. Oops. I guess I'll have to call them to get a reminder about when I have to pick up my pictures (and the check-woohoo!)

I was really surprised that this didn't win something, although there are a lot of good shots in the show.
The one you entered that did win is stunning, too. You have such a good eye for photography.
If this one lost, I'd really like to see the winners...That must have been some stunning competition.
