Here's a photography tip for you: the best time to take color pictures is in the first couple of hours after the sun rises or before it sets. The sun is in such a place where the shadows are long, and your pictures have much more depth to them. For those times when you are taking shots in the middle of the day, I have great luck shooting in black and white. Normal mundane items take on a life or their own, and there are not as many nuances of color so the shadows you really need for color photography is not as essential. This shot was a shot taken in raw format and then the white balance of the camera changed to monochrome.
