We have some really cool lights hanging in our patio at the house, and I decided to see if I could get a picture exactly like you see here. The catch? I took this picture at 2:30 in the afternoon on a bright sunny day. While the patio is not in direct sunlight, it is well lit and a quick shutter release of 1/250th of a second did not allow enough light to show anything else. Thus, it looks like nighttime when it was actually very bright outside.

It's fascinating what can be done with a camera. I'm glad you like to experiment, and the verse at the bottom is very appropriate.
