I drive my wife crazy because I never take pictures with people in them. She's kinda funny in that she thinks we should actually be in the pictures of the places we visit. I know, I know....she's nuts. She did marry me after all. :-)
So, here's a picture of my father-in-law in McKittrick Canyon. After all, he may not be in focus, but he's in the picture!
Wow! It's a person!

If yer taking photos of scenery, I'll probably side with you on this arguement. However, if your at Disney, I'd rather not see photos of a parade or a ride unless someone I know is in it. Who wants to see some random group of people spinning in a tea cup, when I can see Alison getting ready to toss her toast? Again, unless the point of the photo is purely artistic, I want to recognize who's who.
Yay! A person! David, you know that I do love your nature photography, but my goal is to one day take a picture of you when you're actually happy about being in the picture. =) I know, call me nuts.
...And HEY! I'm very particular about in which shots I choose to "toss my toast." I prefer soft eastern light with a touch of shadow. It's the most dramatic.
LOL at Alison! I love the perspective of this photo...very cool! smiles...
