three years ago, ali and i visited some of my family, Christi, Ben, and Jacob, over in england. a neat spot Christi took us was the ruins of an abbey in bury st. edmund. i enjoyed this view of a wall that is now covered in bright green moss. once this wall had a function far different than its use today. i hope that my relationship with God never reaches a similar state.
as my hero, kermit, said, "it's not easy being green"

I know that I was with you for most of this trip, but I look at the photos and wonder where the heck was I and how come I didn't see the things that you found in your camera lens? Just a gorgeous photo, David, and a wonderful sentiment too...something to ponder...smiles!
That was a great day. It was amazing to see how huge the area of the ruins was. You do have an eye for zeroing in on worthwhile subjects.
I am loving seeing your photography! Thanks for sharing with us!
Dave,
I had no idea you had a blog. Shame on me.
Christi is just being modest. She took much better pictures than I did on that trip (no lie at all). If I could find the disc of her pictures, I'd prove it to you. Christi (or anyone else for that matter, go here to see a larger picture of where this moss came from. Some sunlight would have sure helped this picture.
Mom, thanks for coming by!
Will, I sent out an email about a week ago to some people about this blog. It might have ended up in your yahoo spam filter.
Dave wonderful picture, but you made me wonder about the original use of the wall and its relation to your position with GOD.
